The birds tweet and the nights are long
thunderstorms roll in and pass along,
salty air encompasses your soul
sand gets right between your toes,
sipping Pimms in the summer light
planes taking off for your summer flight,
Oh July how we miss you.
It's unfortunate we're Brits
and so not much of this is true.
